On the road to Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.)

Finishing up our stay in Nova Scotia on 4 Sep, we have formed into a caravan with Ted and Jan and are headed up to PEI. The main part of this trip is to take a ferry across the Northumberland Strait. The ride takes about 1..25 hours and was a smooth ride across.

The only other eventful item was that our rig is still suffering some loss of power from tha bad fuel incident. However, it only represented about 20 minutes of the transit to the campsite, and so wasn't to much of a problem. The problem has not risen again since I put some additive in with the next load of fuel.

The campground we are heading to is the Cavendish KOA near the town of Cavendish. Our first impressions of PEI is that of a very clean and orderly farming community. There are several large cities, but mostly the countryside is that of farms.

The KOA was pretty nice though once again, asking for a level site seemed to be a bit much to ask for. Still a well appointed park with friendly folks.
