Seeing Our Country

7/21/05. A picture of downtown Anchorage. Today was our (Christa and I) 24th anniversary. We treated ourselves to dining at Orso's Seafood Restaurant on 5th and between F and H streets. What a great dining experience. Listed as one of the premiere dining spots (read $$$), this place served up some fine dining in an interesting setting. The service was good, though they could have put on a couple extra waiters as they were very busy. Never-the-less, a place I would recommend for some great food. I had a seafood sampler, skewers laden with salmon, halibut, scallops, onions and other tasty veggies, grilled and served with penne pasta. They do need lessons on Margaritas though. The one Christa ordered was about as far away from a mararita as you can get (my beer tasted great though).
