7/23/05. Before coming into Anchorage, we had crossed paths with a number of people that told us if we wanted to really see something, we had to go to Hatcher Pass. When we got to the town of Willow, we asked a local about whether we could cross the pass in the moho. We were told that would not be a prudent thing to do, so we passed it up. However, touring this pass clung to my mind like bad fog. Today we decided to go ahead and retrace our steps back to Palmer and take the Palmer-Fishhook Road to the Pass.
