While riding the train from the station to the mine, we're entertained by a world class fiddler. I can't remember this fellows name (I think it's Earl), but he has played on the Grand Ole Opry, and played with Roy Acuff. A real treat all by himself, he was also our tour guide while on the train explaing the history of the area, how much gold has been mined and the state of gold mining today. Very good listening.
