7/17/05. Traveling south from Fairbanks, we followed the Nenana River and came upon the town of the same name, Nenana. A historically significant town, the old stern wheelers brought goods through here on their way to Fairbanks. An interesting little stop and the gentleman working the Visitor's desk was very friendly and helpful with things to see along the way to Denali, our next destination.
