7/08/05. A nose on shot across Lake Kluane. This was fantastic. I did get quite a few warnings from the locals though who told me to stay close to shore as the winds come up real quick and will turn this lake really nasty within a 20 minute time frame. I listened. The lake itself is over 50 miles long and a couple wide as well. I was thrilled to have paddled it.
