7/12/05. Entering Fairbanks. Many sights await us while we are in city in central Alaska. Said to be the second largest city of Alaska, Fairbanks offers relatively mild winters compared to surrounding areas. Usually quite dry, we did manage to drag some moisture with us, but the days were warm (and long). As will be seen, there are many things to see and do here, we really had a good time. Christa has even mentioned she would maybe tempt a wintering over to see the northern lights.
