8/01/05. Yesterday, we arrived at the Eagle's Rest Campground around 4PM and were pretty bushed. We did take a quick trip into Valdez to get orientated and a quick bite before turning in for the night. Another adventure; today we head for the glaciers. In particular, we are taking a tour boat out to see the Columbia and Mears Glaciers in Prince William Sound. The day opens overcast with the sun almost showing through. The temperature is around 50 degrees and feeling a bit coolish. The bus picks us up at the campground at 9AM, takes us to the docks with a 10 AM departure.
