8/13/05. Today we got up, had a great breakfast at the Wildflower Cafe just down from Camp Run-A-Muck, and loaded up into the van to go check out Salmon Glacier. Thrilling. The other glaciers we had seen were pretty awesome, but, on the boat, we only saw the face of the glaciers. This time we were able to drive on top of the adjacent mountain (no I didn't get the name of the mountain) and look down the throat of one of these beauties. Be mindful that this is only one angle and that we had traveled for about 10 miles to get to this point. The only downer was that the flies up here eat you as you get out of the vehicle. I'm not kidding, I had to toss abvout 5 other photos because everyone had flies on the lens in the shot. And they bite. Hard.
