8/11/05. Leaving North Beaver Post, we continue the journey to Hyder, AK, hopefully for some good bear viewing. As usual, while traveling down the many roads of Alaska and Canada, there are always a bounty of scenic shots to take. Ted (pictured) and I could not resist pulling over for this beautiful streamside photo op. The water was crystal clear and ice cold. Yep, I waded out into itand this pic was taken from out in the middle (sort of). Though this is a nice shot along the Cassier Hwy, do not let it fool you. This road was one of the most grueling we had undertaken. A bunch of repairs will be needed when we get back to the states.
