8/02/05. The water was like glass with only a mild misting in the air. Not to cold - around 55 degrees. We were all wearing rain garb just in case the sky opened up and rain gear did get a bit warmish after an hour of paddling. As luck would have it, the rain hit about the last 30 minutes of the paddle, so we were ready. Low lying clouds and wisps of fog lent an eery feel to paddle and added to making this an interesting trip.
